A sea of lost ships
|
An underwater
world, rich with aquatic flora and fauna, where the wreckages of
old abandoned ships dwell. The whole of Sardinia offers diving
enthusiasts numerous not-to-be-missed opportunities: ships stranded
on the seabed, where the sun's rays create magical visions of light
and colour. Meanwhile, in the deepest darkness, the vitality of the
sea brings the wounded wreckages back to life: the new inhabitants,
including grouper fish, lobsters and prawns, peep out from their
homes among the splendid carpets of flowering gorgonians and rare
species of black coral. These shipwrecks are now completely
colonized by red and yellow sea fans and expanses of seagrass that
vibrate as the water flows through them, arousing the emotions of
even the most expert divers.

On March
2020, in full PANDEMIC, Group
Y launched its own campaign “ Support your
favourite COMPANY”.
Today, after
almost a year, Group Y, would like to thank all the doctors and
nurses who saved lives by serving during the pandemic
anywhere in the world.
A silent
massacre, this is how can be defined as the long list of doctors
who died for Covid. Professionals who have never abandoned their
patients, even in the most difficult moments, when the health
system collapsed, hospitals no longer had receptive capacity and
the seriously ill were abandoned in their own homes. In Italy alone
about 3 doctors died per day, more than 160 in two months, more
than half in Lombardy, of which a third in Bergamo. This is in fact
the most affected province, where family doctors mainly paid: out
of six hundred active in the area, 150 fell ill and six
died.

The Culture
of the Sea and the Culture of Dance come together to give life to
the:
“1st Gala
DANCE in the WIND”.
In the
wonderful scenery of Santa Teresa di Gallura there has always been
a sea air, and on 25 July a unique DANCE show was staged. The best
dancers of national and international theatres, from the Scala in
Milan to the Opera in Rome up to the Opéra National de Bordeaux,
directed by Rossella Cardo, founder of the Art Ballet – forge of
young dancers – excite an entire square.

A surprising gallery of ever-changing landscapes. This is what the
island's coastline looks like. Expanses of white or golden sand,
sometimes sparkling with quartz or tinged with pink. Or stretches
of soft virgin dunes. Or deep inlets and stunning cliffs shaped by
wind and waves into the most original and bizarre shapes. Cliffs,
stacks and tafoni (also known as honeycomb weathering) are
veritable artistic installations on the sea, and are accessible
natural wonders, easily reached by car, motorbike or bicycle. These
striking places don't get very crowded, like the solitary
promontories surrounding the island's charming lighthouses and
countless coastal towers. There is always a sheltered spot where
you can find an exclusive terrace overlooking the sea, an intimate
corner to enjoy at your leisure, far from the bustle of the
beaches. Take a refreshing dip amidst the light reflecting on the
rocks or dive from 'balconies overlooking the sea', surrounded by
sheer cliffs, spires and ravines. Peaceful places where you can
witness unforgettable sunrises and sunsets while listening to the
music of the sea.
