story
Walking around Gallura
|
Follow it to the
tops of the hills overlooking the famous coastal resorts of
Gallura, from which you can see the Maddalena archipelago, Tavolara
and the islets that dot the sea. The routes inland are sometimes
challenging, and should be tackled with a guide, but most are
suitable for all hikers, just follow the signs. Others are gentle
hikes, skirting the sea and leading to places where the spirit of
Gallura's countryside is overpowering. The most iconic in Santa
Teresa Gallura is a circular route on the promontory of the Capo
Testa lighthouse, where the Mediterranean maquis gives way to a
labyrinth of majestic granite sculptures artfully carved by the
wind, reaching as far as the sea and creating bizarre shapes in the
coves of seven valleys surrounded by natural caves carved into the
rocks. One of them is the Valle della Luna (Moon Valley), inhabited
by a hippy community, an unusual place that is bound to stir up
emotions, some of them conflicting, but it is for certain that, in
these lunar valleys, the boundless beauty of Gallura is the
master.

beautiful, in particular in my opinion in the low season, but we
are still ready and equipped to meet the needs of all tourists who
want to discover it by sea from spring to late autumn”. It is
Annalisa Bucci, marketing manager of Group Y – Yachting in
Sardinia, who tells us how the important charter company has
organized itself in view of the next holiday season that everyone
foresees really interesting.
«We have – she continues – first of all a fleet of very young and
performing boats: the oldest boats are from 2016. In total we can
make 42 models available, including 9 catamarans, perfect tourist
solutions in particular for groups and families. In fact, the
demand for multihulls has increased a lot and we have adapted, so
much so that we have 5 brand new ones in 2022. Also for this I can
say that we are already very happy with how things are going from a
commercial point of view: the trend of bookings is really very good
and many customers, repeaters and more, have already sent their
request for summer 2022 at the end of last year, so well in
advance. And if in recent years we have always had the entire fleet
booked also for this year, we are very confident, confident of
being able to repeat the same exploit, also because the first
rentals have already started at the end of April and the
reservations we have already covered the season until October
“.
