How many of you have

choice of a certifying body expert in tourist accommodation (not
nautical ones), as CSQA, has revolutionized the processes in an

Today Yachting in Sardinia, after 5 years of certification, thanks
to major investments in computerization, is the first company in
the world capable of offering a Certified Nautical Hotel

Gennargentu
|
There is a massive
mountain range at the centre of Sardinia, one covered in ages-old
trees, the habitat of the royal eagle and the mouflon. The
Gennargentu is a triumph of nature in a wild and pristine area. In
spring its prairies are graced with colourful sa rosa ‘e monte, or
peonies, which in Antiquity were the only flowers to bloom on Mt.
Olympus. And when the many bushes of thyme begin to bloom just
before summer, the air is filled with their intense fragrance. Many
trails lead hikers to magnificent panoramas: go to punta La
Marmora, Sardinia’s highest summit at 1834m. The Gennargentu is a
fairytale land in winter, when the snow whitens the peaks and
everything seems to come to a halt. Go to Fonni and catch the ski
lift to the slopes of Mt Bruncu Spina and Spada.

An underwater world,
rich with aquatic flora and fauna, where the wreckages of old
abandoned ships dwell. The whole of Sardinia offers diving
enthusiasts numerous not-to-be-missed opportunities: ships stranded
on the seabed, where the sun's rays create magical visions of light
and colour. Meanwhile, in the deepest darkness, the vitality of the
sea brings the wounded wreckages back to life: the new inhabitants,
including grouper fish, lobsters and prawns, peep out from their
homes among the splendid carpets of flowering gorgonians and rare
species of black coral. These shipwrecks are now completely
colonized by red and yellow sea fans and expanses of seagrass that
vibrate as the water flows through them, arousing the emotions of
even the most expert divers.
