The BlueFEEL project!

Our company:

Is taking part to this call for proposals because we’d like to prototype a complete new idea of yacht to enhance a new idea of holiday: the blue week holiday.
Our product:
EHYFA (EcoHybrid Floating Apartement) is the solution that we strongly believe can be the turning point of the whole sector of yacht hotels, because it can really transform a sailing holiday in a blue week holiday suitable for a wider number of sea-tourists.

State of art:
The current state-of-the-art of the sector focuses on the sailing yachts and their inner
characteristics. Average seaside tourists don’t even think that they could spend their holiday on a
sailing yacht instead of using sea-view apartments on the coast, because at the moment mediumsize
yachts (10-20 meters long) are not comfortable and they are difficult to be used.
Solution:
We think that EHYFA is a turning point for our main business, because we will be able to propose our tourists a new way of spending the seaside holiday. With our is strong connection to final users, we are really convince that we can further develop EHYFA concept: we build it, we test it and we make our clients use it to have their personal feedbacks. In this way we can finalize the project and start the industrialization phase.

The general objective of BlueFEEL is to innovate blue tourism through the introduction of a new type of yacht hotel: an innovative catamaran whose easy use can bring many people closer to nautical tourism. Thanks to the use of advanced technologies EHYFA (EcoHybrid Floating Apartement), the new boat prepared by Yachting in Sardinia with a multidisciplinary team of experts in blue tourism and green technologies, can revolutionize the yacht hotel sector by transforming a sailing holiday into a blue week holiday expanding the opportunities for potential customers and coastal economies.

The promises we make to our clients are:
better value-for-money, because we’ll finally have a yacht model that is specifically designed for our business and has a better purchasing cost and optimized running cost; that they can finally enjoy a sailing holiday with their families, because the yacht and the service we’ll provide is suitable for everybody; the yacht is equipped for sorting the garbage; they can sail easily saving fuel; our yachts will be allowed also in future to access marine protected areas that are the main attraction for this kind of tourism, thanks also to the equipment to treat the sewer waters produced onboard as well as a protective film that avoid the use of antifouling paints; but most important, we are going to propose a blue week holiday on a sailing boat that is more comfortable, easier to handle and helps to spend a more environmental friendly holiday, with a complete variety of tourist support services”.
