The widespread Nautical Hotel is now a reality!

The Widespread Nautical Hotel, representing the tourism of the future, allows everyone to spend an experiential holiday on a sailing boat, in close contact with the sea and nature. Sardinia, a pioneering region in Italy, has made the Widespread Nautical Hotel a reality. This is the alternative to the overbuilding that increasingly covers our coasts, also allowing us to reach hidden corners of the coast, while preserving their value over time.

Yachting in Sardinia, by Group Y, is the first Widespread Nautical Hotel accommodation facility in the world to also have ISO 9001 certification.

What changes compared to other nautical charter companies? Simply, everything. Dr. Monica Ricci, founding member of Group Y, explains it to us. In 2018, Yachting in Sardinia, after twenty years of activity in the sector, having perceived the growth prospects of Eco-sustainable Nautical Tourism, decided to change gear and chose an entity expert certifier in the tourist accommodation sector (and not nautical) such as CSQA, revolutionizing its processes in an integral way by completely redesigning the operational model of the activity.

The company today offers the possibility for anyone to use a rented boat or catamaran, as if it were a hotel apartment. An accommodation facility made up of a fleet of boats comparable in all respects to floating and completely eco-sustainable housing units, equipped with all comforts and divided into categories.

Once cast off from the central structure, the vessel receives 24-hour assistance, also thanks to the SeaTutor monitoring system, and can count on a dedicated Service Operator, ready to respond to any needs of the guest crew.

To make the holiday even more eco-sustainable, Group Y has decided to install innovative equipment on board all its boats such as a water purifier, avoiding the use of hundreds of plastic bottles, and solar panels. And on all boats, starting from the exclusive line, also the innovative SeaProtector film, with “zero” impact, which replaces traditional antifouling, not only improving performance and reducing fuel consumption, but avoiding releasing any type of harmful substance in the water.
